Summer Study Abroad Fees
The Summer Program fee of $2,850 includes the following:
- Lodging
- Lodging with a chosen family in Pescara; meals Monday through Sunday
- Lodging (a triple room) at chosen hotels in Rome, Florence, Pompeii .
- All program-related excursions
- All related travel within Italy by tour bus and by train.
In addition, students will pay tuition of $495 per credit hour to Nazareth College, plus any adjustment made by the Board of Trustees by June 1. Students in the program will register for two courses and earn a total of six credit hours.
Other expenses students will incur
- Round-trip airfare.
- Spending money for personal expenses - some students manage on $100 per week.
- All miscellaneous transportation expenses not program related.
Because the Summer Program ends in early August, many students choose to travel in Europe for a few weeks before returning to the U.S., so students may wish to budget additional funds.
Financial Aid
Matriculated students attending Nazareth College may be eligible for financial aid. Questions may be directed to the Office of Financial Aid by calling (585) 389-2312 or by contacting the financial aid representative. The office of financial is http://www.naz.edu/dept/finaid/ . The following student loans are available: Federal Stafford Loans and Federal PLUS Loans (loans to parents). Students from other institutions should contact their respective Financial Aid Office.
