SATURDAY HOOPS
Until further notice: Let's plan to meet at
Nazareth at 7:15 am on Saturday mornings. If the gym is not available, then we'll
trek on over to Pittsford Rec. for some hoopage. Also, if you have not sent me a player
profile, please do so ASAP.

At 5'9 175lbs, Alex is a fierce competitor underneath the basket. Also likes to challenge
defenders
by taking the ball to the basket. On occasion, will pop a trifecta.

At 6'4" 190lbs, Andy can play a variety of positions. Most comfortable facing the
basket and taking the
defender off the dribble. Makes up for suspect outside shooting with solid "D"
and a scrappiness around
the basket.
NBA claim to fame: Played pick-up hoops with NBA journeyman and current NJ Net,
Johnny Newman,
while they were both attending the University of Richmond in the mid '80s.

At 5'10 1/2 ", 185 lbs.(+ or -), Mike prefers to shoot the open "j." Has
been rumored to rebound and play
defense on occasion. Considered to be the go-to guy in the clutch with his dead-eye
shooting.
NBA claim to fame: Birthday is three days before Julius (Dr. "J" )Erving

a 5'10" graduate from the University of Kentucky ('76). Killer three,
especially toward the end of games
when it is needed to break the backs of the opposing squad. Will drive to hole on
occasion with the
fierceness of Antoine Walker. Does not like Christian Laettner.
While at Kentucky, Brad was privileged to see the last few years of the legendary coach
Adolph Rupp
as well as players such as Kevin Grevey, Jack Givins, Rick Robey and Kyle Macy. His grad
work was
done at Syracuse, but he has remained a faithful fan of the Wildcats. Brad lives about a
five iron from
Nazareth College, off east Ave on Pilgrim Circle.
Probably the senior citizen of the group.

At 5'11 205lbs, "Frankie the Butcher" Can foul with either hand. Likes to
sharpen his brace before
games to take out opposing players. Enjoys hanging all over Dave Scheidt, fouling Mitch
Messina
and parking in the paint. Loves to pop a three in the style of Dennis Rodman from
time-to time.

5'11", 165 lbs (I personally do not believe these numbers, but we'll let if fly), my
number is the same as Clyde Drexler and that was my number in my days of CYO basketball. I
am 22 years old and finishing my
degree in environmental science. I like playing basketball but my skill level comes down
to mediocre
with moments of brilliance.
