Study Abroad Fees

Price for one semester:
The cost of a semester in Italy is equivalent to the on-campus Nazareth College tuition and room charges only. The price includes:

  1. Tuition
  2. 24 hour emergency assistance
  3. Some art supplies
  4. SRISA student ID
  5. Orientation and welcome dinner
  6. Housing in shared apartments
  7. Institute facilities
  8. Cultural activities
  9. Some day and weekend field trips
  10. Italian cooking or wine tasting lesson

Students are responsible for their own meals. Living quaters will include well equipped kitchens.

A Resident Director, student services coordinators, and a housing coordinator are also available to the student.

The program fees do not include: travel to/from Italy, textbooks or course materials, cell phones, meals, course lab fees and optional excursions and activities.

Students' financial aid can be applied towards the cost of their time abroad. Questions may be directed to the Office of Financial Aid .  Students from other institutions should contact their respective Financial Aid Office.

Transportation
Students are responsible for making their own flight arrangements. Students traveling together on the specified dates are responsible for their own transporation to the school.

Release of Liability
All participants (and a parent, guardian, or spouse where applicable) must sign the Release of Liability and Agreement to Indemnity forms.

 

Refund Policy
The refund policy is in accordance with the Bursar's Office of Nazareth College.
